About the Partner

India Leaders for Social Sector (ILSS) is a leadership and management education institution that strengthens the capacity of India’s social sector to build resilient, high-impact organisations. Through learning programmes, convenings and knowledge products, ILSS develops leadership and management capabilities that enable organisations to advance sustainable, systemic change at scale. It addresses critical sector-wide constraints, including gaps in strategic leadership, organisational processes, governance and financial resilience. By strengthening the leadership infrastructure of social-purpose organisations, ILSS helps them respond more effectively to India’s pressing development challenges and build lasting impact.

HBSF Engagement

HBSF partners with India Leaders for Social Sector through the Harish & Bina Shah Centre for Talent and Leadership to strengthen leadership capacity across India’s social sector. The Centre seeks to build values-driven leadership through learning programmes, convenings, community-led engagement platforms, knowledge creation and research. Its initiatives include flagship leadership programmes and women’s leadership accelerators designed to address persistent talent and leadership gaps within the sector. Through this strategic partnership, HBSF and ILSS aim to place leadership at the centre of India’s development journey and enable social-purpose organisations to achieve sustainable impact at scale.
