Key Education Foundation

Key Education Foundation
Key Education Foundation addresses the lack of quality early childhood education for children aged 3-6 from low-income communities, ensuring they develop foundational skills before Grade 1 for better lifelong learning outcomes and equitable educational opportunities.

Since 2019, Key Education Foundation has partnered with governments to improve early childhood education in government schools and anganwadis across Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Nagaland. We provide an integrated model of curriculum, teacher training, and parental engagement ensuring that the child learns and develops not only in school but also at home, with both the teachers and parents equally involved. By leveraging existing systems and building government capacity, we have impacted over 60,000 children, 4,000 teachers, and 60,000 parents across 1,000 schools and anganwadis.

The Harish and Bina Shah Foundation grant is enabling us to strengthen grassroots and systemic capacity to launch pre-primary classrooms in government schools. It supports direct implementation in 20 schools and experimentation of scalable and innovative solutions across 300+ schools, enhancing both our operational efficiency and our ability to adapt, learn, and iterate.
