OGQ is a program of the Foundation for Promotion of Sports and Games, a non-profit company founded by sporting legends Geet Sethi and Prakash Padukone. It is committed to bridging the gap between the best athletes in India and the best athletes in the world with a mission to support the Indian athletes and para-athletes in winning Olympic and Paralympic gold medals.
The Harish and Bina Shah Foundation grant is used by OGQ towards its Junior Programme, which currently supports150 junior athletes between the ages of 11 & 19. These athletes are India’s brightest prospects for the Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane 2032 Olympics Games. The grant is also utilized towards the skill development of OGQ employees enabling their professional skills upgradation and thereby strengthening both institutional and in turn programmatic outcomes.
